Drawing is a form of meditation. It draws you in, and makes you forget the world. Because of that, it may well be a suitable diversion for those afflicted with wanderlust. Here are some pieces I made in October. I started with that well-pictured row of houses in Innsbruck, Austria. Then I thought of where else I might want to see with S.
And after completing the Moulin Rouge piece, I asked S for something to draw. I groaned a little when I saw that the picture chosen had snow in it, but I think it turned out fine.

I had some hope that I could do a Places I’ve Been series. I brought my watercolour kit on our most recent trip to Hong Kong, but somehow I have not developed a taste for the Urban Sketchers ethos yet!
