We were too early for a new café we wanted to try out, so we made a detour to Mui Thiang Kee Eating House at 34 Cassia Crescent (we had wanted breakfast at Maple & Market but alas, we were too early for them too). Thankfully, the dim sum stall had very serviceable food (a coffee pau!). A long queue formed at the wanton mee stall while we were there, but since we had similar fare yesterday, we had to file that away for future cravings.
PapyPress, a local bespoke stationer and letterpress studio, is having a warehouse sale today from 11am – 3pm. Profits from the sale will go towards a charity of their choice. We bought envelopes and random slabs of paper/cards. Happy!
After our paper errand, we happened to drive by the area again so we conveniently took a turn into the ex-Singapore Badminton Hall where Brawn & Brains is located. The coffee was pretty good and we enjoyed our cupcake(s). It’s such a nice space too. I think we’ve been quite lucky this morning.
Happy National Day!
