The Little Dröm Store, our favourite local shop for cute, cute goodies, moved its retail space to SOTA (Singapore School of the Arts) in August. If you haven’t been, this month would be a really nice time to visit because Polkaros is having her first pop-up shop outside of Japan there!
Polkaros’ designer Ros Lee is a Singaporean lifestyle and zakka designer based in Tokyo. We have long been fans, and it is wonderful to have the opportunity to see (and purchase) her work.
We had our eye on one of the ceramic pots, but alas, it was already sold by the time we headed down to the shop. While the pop-up runs till the end of the month, plenty of stuff has been reserved and sold already, so you really need to get there faaaaaast. The entire ceramics collection is still on display though, if you don’t mind just gawking.
We went away with a clutch, a tenugui (Japanese hand towel), as well as a way-too-adorable Mt Fuji pom pom made by the clever Melly of greenlaundry for Polkaros. The pom pom is going to make its way to Boston though, for Ru.

Might we suggest a snack at Kki next door too. The Nao and Onigiri make indulgence okay.
